When a baptism is of a baby or a child, the baptised receives the love and shared faith of the family to grow up into Christ.” (Words from A New Zealand Prayer Book p. 379) Baptism is normally celebrated during one of Sunday services within the parish. Please contact the Parish Office or the Priest in Charge with your initial inquiry.

St John tells us how Jesus shared in such an occasion, and gave there a sign of new beginnings….For Christians, marriage is also an invitation to share life together in the spirit of Jesus Christ. It is based upon a solemn, public and life-long covenant between a man and a woman, made and celebrated in the presence of God and before a priest and congregation.
